Boost is a paid distribution feature. For 30 minutes, Tinder places the profile among the top profiles in the current area. Tinder says a user may receive up to 10 times more profile views while boosted.

“Up to” is not an individual guarantee. The outcome depends on how many eligible people are active nearby, their Discovery settings, and whether the profile appeals to them.
