Bumble Boost: Features, Limits, and Who It Helps
Unlimited Likes, weekly Spotlight and SuperSwipes, Backtrack, Extend, and Rematch—without a stale price promise.
Bumble Boost in 30 Seconds
Bumble currently lists these Boost benefits:
- unlimited Likes;
- five SuperSwipes per week;
- one Spotlight per week;
- unlimited Backtrack;
- unlimited 24-hour Extends;
- Rematch for expired connections.
Boost does not include Premium's Liked You queue, Advanced Filters, Incognito Mode, or Travel Mode.
What Is Bumble Boost?
Bumble Boost is the entry paid subscription. It mainly removes usage limits and gives more control over time-sensitive matches.
The current official feature list includes unlimited Likes, five weekly SuperSwipes, one weekly Spotlight, unlimited Backtrack, unlimited Extend, and Rematch.
Features can vary by market and account. Review the Pay Plan screen before purchasing, especially if one included item is the reason for subscribing.
What Each Boost Feature Does
Unlimited Likes
You can keep swiping right without the free-account daily limit. This removes a constraint; it does not improve the underlying profile or make a recipient accept the Like.
Spotlight
Spotlight moves the profile toward the front of the queue for more local exposure during its active period. Boost currently includes one per week. Bumble also sells Spotlights separately.
More exposure is not a match guarantee. Check the profile and settings before spending a Spotlight.
SuperSwipe
A SuperSwipe visibly signals stronger interest before matching. Boost currently includes five per week. It is more prominent than a standard right swipe, but the recipient still chooses.
Backtrack
Unlimited Backtrack lets you reverse an accidental left swipe. It is a correction tool, not a way to recall a right swipe or undo every account action.
Extend
Bumble matches normally expire when no one starts a conversation within 24 hours. Extend adds another 24 hours. Free users receive one Extend per day; paid tiers allow unlimited Extends.
Rematch
Rematch restarts the 24-hour timer on an expired connection. Bumble documents it for Boost and Premium subscribers. Open the expired profile with the gray circle in the match queue and select Rematch.
Boost vs. Premium vs. Premium+
| Plan | Primary job |
|---|---|
| Boost | More Likes plus timing and recovery tools |
| Premium | Boost features plus Liked You, Advanced Filters, Incognito, and Travel Mode |
| Premium+ | Premium features plus photo insights, faster Like placement, daily feed priority, and larger weekly consumable allowances |
Choose Premium only if one of its additional features matters. Paying more for a longer checklist is not useful when the actual need is simply recovering expired matches or using Backtrack.
How Much Does Bumble Boost Cost?
Bumble says pricing varies by tier, duration, and package size. The app and website show the current price and available promotions for the account.
Compare:
- the total amount charged today;
- the renewal interval and date;
- which weekly benefits reset rather than accumulate;
- and how to cancel on the billing platform.
Avoid publishing or trusting a universal dollar figure. It becomes stale quickly and may never have applied to your region.
Is Bumble Boost Worth It?
Boost is most defensible when a specific repeated constraint costs time:
- you often hit the Like limit while evaluating profiles thoughtfully;
- accidental left swipes are common;
- expired matches are a recurring problem;
- or you would separately buy the included Spotlight and SuperSwipes.
It is less compelling when the main issue is weak incoming interest or conversations that stall. In that case, clearer photos, specific prompts, accurate intentions, and a better Opening Move affect more of the funnel than unlimited swiping.
Start with the shortest sensible test and define what would justify renewal. Useful matches and conversations matter more than the number of paid actions consumed.
