FireTexts Review 2026
I tested it against Rizz App. Here's what actually happens when you let AI write your messages.
TL;DR: The Quick Verdict
- What it is: AI texting assistant trained by a dating coach to help you not sound like an idiot on dating apps.
- Our score: 4/5 - Actually decent, unlike most "rizz" apps that are embarrassingly bad.
- Who it's for: Guys who know the basics but occasionally draw a blank. Not for complete beginners.
- Biggest pros: Fast responses, 5 options to choose from, customizable creativity settings, actually understands context.
- Biggest cons: Screenshot workflow gets tedious, sometimes ignores instructions, occasionally pushes when the girl's cold, won't fix terrible fundamentals.
What FireTexts Actually Does (And Why Most AI Dating Coaches Suck)
Your matches aren't texting you back. You know why.
It's because you sent "hey" or asked about her weekend like it's 2015 and that ever worked.
Enter FireTexts. An AI trained by Aleks from Playing With Fire who is an actual dating app coach with 10+ years of experience, not a random tech bro who's only had sex four times in his life.
Here's Aleks going through how the app actually works.
Here's how it works:
- You paste in the conversation or upload screenshots
- FireTexts gives you five response options
- You copy/paste or modify your favorite response and send it to the girl
- You can continuely add her responses to the chat when she replies
There is also an input box and a creativity slider, so you can control the direction of the responses, if you want.

Pricing
FireTexts has three basic pricing tiers:
- Basic: $5/month (limited credits)
- Standard: $15/month (more credits)
- Unlimited: $30/month (unlimited generations)
Or you can just buy credit packs if you hate the whole subscription thing.
Note: Pricing might depend on your location when purchasing through the App Store or Google Play Store.
The Good: What FireTexts Gets Right
Speed That Actually Matters
The app is genuinely fast. Like one second and boom, you've got responses.
Compare that to opening ChatGPT, typing out your whole conversation, waiting for it to think, then having to reword your prompt three times because it didn't understand what the fuck you were asking.
FireTexts just works.
Great For Brainstorming
Most AI apps give you one or two reply suggestions and call it a day. FireTexts gives you five.
This matters because AI isn't perfect. It can't be. Sometimes a few of the options will be garbage, that's just the current state of AI.
But having multiple choices means you're not stuck with whatever the algorithm spits out first.
You still need to pick the best one yourself, but at least you've got actual options to choose from.
The Customization Actually Works
There's a creativity slider (0-100%) and a text box where you can give it instructions.
Want safe, boring responses that won't get you unmatched? Slider to 20%. Want wild, risky shit that might blow up in your face? Crank it to 90%.
The instructions box lets you type things like "make it funny" or "move toward the date." Does it listen every time? No. Sometimes it just ignores you and does whatever it wants. But when it works, it works pretty well.

The Interface Isn't Shit
The app actually looks decent. Clean. Easy to figure out. You can upload screenshots or just type the conversation in.
It supports all the main dating apps - Tinder, Bumble, Hinge, whatever you're using. You can organize conversations with little icons so you remember which app each girl came from.
Small detail, but when you're juggling 10 conversations at once, being able to tell them apart actually matters.
Openers Are Solid
The app genuinely gives good opening lines based on the girl's photos.
Not "hey beautiful" garbage. Actual conversation starters that give the girl something to work with.

If you're blanking on how to start a conversation, this alone might be worth the download.
The Bad: Where It Falls Short
The Screenshot Workflow Is a Bit Tedious
Opening one girl? Cool. Upload a screenshot, get your responses, pick one, done.
Opening 10 girls in one sitting? Now you're taking 4-5 screenshots per profile, uploading them one by one, waiting for the AI to process, picking responses, copying them over, rinse and repeat.
It gets tedious as fuck. If you're doing volume, all that clicking and uploading adds up. You'll feel it.
It Sometimes Just Ignores You
You type "make it funny" in the instructions box. It gives you a boring straightforward response.
You say "move toward the date." It cracks a joke instead.
The AI listens maybe 70% of the time, but the other 30% it does its own thing and ignores you completely.

Which, to be fair, is kind of expected. No AI is perfect. But it's still annoying when you're trying to steer the conversation a specific direction and it just... doesn't.
It Can't Always Read the Room
Here's a real example: Girl says she has a massive headache. What does FireTexts suggest? "Want to grab drinks this week?"
No. Absolutely not. The correct move is to back off and wait until she's not dying before you try to set something up. But the AI pushes forward anyway.
Again, this is kind of expected. AI can't perfectly read social cues. Sometimes it just doesn't get that "I have a terrible headache" means "not the time to escalate."
You still need to use your own judgment to recognize when the app's giving you bad advice.
This is why having five options helps. Usually one or two will be pushing too hard, but the others might be more appropriate. You just need to be able to tell the difference.
You Still Need to Know What You're Doing
The app is a great help, but it isn't a magic fix for shitty text game.
If you don't understand the basics, you can still pick the wrong responses. You'll escalate too fast or not fast enough or you'll miss obvious signals.
The app gives you five options. It doesn't tell you which one is actually good for this specific situation. That's on you.
Think of it like having a really knowledgeable friend who gives you suggestions. Great. But you still need to know enough to pick the right suggestion.
FireTexts vs The Competition: Why Rizz App Is Fucking Embarrassing
The biggest competitor is Rizz App. Over a million downloads. Tons of marketing budget.
It's also complete dogshit.
I'm not being dramatic here. The app regularly gives you responses like "go ahead and share the conversation so I can provide a reply" when you've literally just shared the entire fucking conversation with it.
Or it suggests texting a girl "you're really fun to talk to" when she's been giving you one-word answers and hasn't responded in two days.
Or it just breaks. Like actually malfunctions and starts generating three messages in a row like it's having a conversation with itself instead of helping you.
FireTexts isn't perfect. But compared to Rizz? It's not even in the same league. FireTexts actually understands context. Gives responses you can use. Doesn't randomly shit the bed mid-conversation.
If your options are FireTexts or Rizz App, it's not even a question.
Who FireTexts Is Actually For
You Should Use It If:
You know the basics of text game but sometimes get stuck. You understand push/pull, when to escalate, how to handle shit tests, but every now and then your brain just blanks on what to say.
You're texting multiple girls at once. Lots of conversations happening simultaneously. You need quick, solid responses without sitting there overthinking every single message.
You want to get better. Seeing five different response styles helps you learn what actually works. It's like studying examples instead of just winging it every time.
Skip It If:
You're brand new to dating apps. You don't know what a shit test is. You think "hey beautiful" is a good opener. The app won't teach you fundamentals. You'll just keep picking bad options and wondering why you're still not getting dates.
You're already crushing it. If you're consistently getting dates and know exactly what to text in any situation, you don't need this. You're doing fine on your own.
You think it'll do everything for you. The app helps with responses. That's it. It won't fix your shitty photos, your boring profile, or your inability to tell when a girl's genuinely not interested versus just busy.
The Bottom Line: Should You Actually Get FireTexts?
There is a free trial, so I would recommend you give
FireTexts is the best AI texting app I've tested. Which admittedly isn't saying much because most of them are fucking terrible, but still.
It's fast, gives you solid options to choose from and actually understands context most of the time instead of just spitting out random bullshit.
But it's not magic. You still need to know what you're doing. The app gives you tools. It doesn't replace having actual skill.
Download the free trial. Test it on a few real conversations. If you find yourself using it and getting better results, grab a subscription.
