Creating the Dating Profile

Treat preferences as inputs, not guarantees. The exact ordering system is not a promise that every suggestion meets every preference.
What Happens to Your Facebook Friends?
Facebook Dating is designed not to show current Facebook friends as ordinary Dating suggestions, while optional features can create other paths. Review the current friends-of-friends and Secret Crush settings rather than assuming a universal default.
Deleting Facebook Dating
You can delete the Dating profile without deleting the Facebook account. Deleting the Facebook account also deletes the Dating profile. Meta says that after deleting Dating, you cannot create a new Dating profile for seven days.
Safety
Meta states that it does not conduct criminal background checks or sex-offender registry screening for every dater. Meet in public, arrange your own transportation, tell a trusted person your plan, protect identifying information, and report suspicious requests.
