Priority Likes

"Sooner" is not the same as "more attractive." Tinder explicitly says Priority Likes do not guarantee that the recipient will see you, because Discovery preferences and other factors still apply. The feature can improve delivery priority; it cannot turn a weak fit into a mutual Like.
Likes Sent in the Last Seven Days
This is a record of profiles you recently Liked. It can satisfy curiosity, but it does not create another action or reveal why a match did not happen. Treat it as account history rather than a performance feature.

Gold answers a high-value question: who already Liked you? Platinum mainly changes how your outgoing Likes can be delivered.
Choose Gold first if your main goal is to stop swiping blindly and work through people who have already expressed interest. Consider Platinum when all three statements are true:

- your local pool is large enough that queue position may matter;

That dataset is useful for outcome benchmarks. For example, the average male match rate is about 5.3%, while the median male match rate is 2.04%; the average female match rate is about 44.4%. Those are descriptive results from people who chose to upload their data, not promises for a new user.
The export does not reliably label the subscription active for each swipe. We therefore cannot use it to claim that Platinum produces a particular lift, nor can we separate subscription effects from profile quality, market, age, preferences, or behavior.
This distinction matters. A paid tier may change reach or convenience, but the SwipeStats dataset cannot honestly assign causation to it.
A Better Way to Test Whether Platinum Is Worth It
Run a simple before-and-after test rather than judging the purchase from one exciting day.
- Measure a baseline. Use at least two normal weeks if possible. Record Likes sent, matches, and active days.
- Keep the profile stable. Do not replace every photo on the same day you subscribe.
- Keep behavior roughly stable. Similar time, location, preferences, and Like volume make the comparison less noisy.
- Use the exclusive features. If you never send a First Impression, you are mostly testing Priority Likes.
- Compare rates, not only totals. Matches per right swipe is more informative than a bigger match count after swiping much more.
- Cancel the renewal if the result is unclear. You can always subscribe again later.
This will not be a laboratory experiment—dating pools change—but it is much better than relying on anecdotes from another city with another profile.
